Considering that he's 1.) survived a few horrific accidents on ovals that could have easily killed him, and 2.) watched a friend die on an oval, I think calling him a coward is pretty asinine.

What about all the other drivers who have gone through the same thing, yet still carried on and continued to race? I'm not trying to be that much of a dick, it just seems kind of ridiculous.

If he doesn't want to race on ovals, he probably should be in a purely road course series. Not picking and choosing which races he wants to do in a mixed series.

A double-meh victory... Carpenter's team and Conway driving. A good call for slicks when they did though. It's been a hell of a year for Ed's team.

No, no, no. There's a scientific formula in here. A douchebag wins a race = God does not exist.

Tast race, TBH.

Mine is not a hilarious over reaction. It's an opinion I've held for a while.

It was a great race. I just don't like the driver that won. I expressed my opinion without going crazy, and I'll leave it at that.

Coward? No, this is why he has bigger balls than most drivers out there....

We get that. Matter of fact, I'd say you gave yours in a more respectful manner compared to the initially quoted post.

Surprised Helio is seemingly "cool" with Power.

I hate how Helio glances down the lense in every fucking interview he does.

Conway has got a conflicted point of view. I understand why he doesn't like ovals, but to then go and run Le Mans? Yeah that's not a contradiction at all.

So is his hairdye I imagine.

Or he's got a good deal going with Just For Men sponsorship.

Or follow in Schumi's footsteps and get a L'Oreal commercial. You know, because he's worth it... ;)

Jean Alesi also did spots for L'Oreal back when he was at Prost I guess

Conway's not a coward. He's probably just normal. At least he made a concerted effort after coming through that nasty wreck before he decided he couldn't quite handle it.

And this notion that he's "picking and choosing" his races is ridiculous. One can pick and choose all day long but it won't mean shit unless someone decides to hire you of their own accord. Plus, the scenario Conway's in is pretty much perfect considering Carpenter's oval skill is so strong compared to his road/street inabilities.
