Completely OT, but did anyone else notice how they dubbed over Schumi's voice in these adverts with one that sounds more stereotypically German? Very odd.

Conway's not a coward. He's probably just normal. At least he made a concerted effort after coming through that nasty wreck before he decided he couldn't quite handle it.

Pretty much. I would love to see how some of us would react after sending a Dallara skywards into a catch fence. Chances are we wouldn't be too excited about running on another high-speed oval. I sure wouldn't.

Everybody said drivers would be killed if IndyCar continued to run ovals the way they did. IndyCar continued to run like that for excitment and Wheldon died. And now Conway is a coward for deciding that IndyCar isn't safe enough on ovals?

Yeah that's completely cowardly. Using this same logic, Rossi is a cowardly bike rider because he said the Isle of Man TT is too dangerous for him, and he'd rather do MotoGP.

It's what separates the men from the boys. If it was easy women and children would do it!

Can't find a pic and know nothing about bikes, but wasn't Rossi 15 when he started?

Not to forget that Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel were teenagers when they debuted in F1.

youngsters driving overpowered racing cars? all I can remember is a 21 year old Greg Moore in a 1000hp Mercedes CART racer (and crashing dangerously)

Yep, plus a 21 year old Scott Dixon winning his first Champcar race in 2001. Also don't forget Joey Logano entering the Daytona 500 (plus being a full time Sprint Cup driver) at 18 years old.

Kids these days!

You should know by now that isn't allowed on this forum.

Conway and Carp will never be IndyCar Champions, notably Conway will never win the Indy 500. If they are fine with that, good for them.

I don't really blame Conway. He came back from that horrific crash in 2010, and then was inches away from going head first into the fence in 2012. Two near death experiences would certainly knock my confidence.

I think that team has a fantastic arrangement.

Yeah, it works pretty well for the sponsors too now that they have the right drivers that can keep them up at/near the front on all the different tracks now.
