I think I've seen about 15 or so great races this weekend.

And DTM and NASCAR had events too!

Great race. And Aleshin is pronounced Alioshona since I watched half the race on a russian stream.

Just Alioshin, the final "a" is just part of the declension that the name suffers, depending on the sentence.

I have to disagree with Kirby here. Those four that he mentions have been way above the rest of the pack, and I do not get the feel that this is a championship "that no one wants to win", as it was a year ago. Power showed yesterday that he can work his way our of difficult situation when he climbed to 3rd early on, and my bet is on him this year, even though I wish a title for Helio.

Which journalist was it last year that said Helio wouldn't have been a worthy champ?

Yea really exciting from start to finish, both races. Glad I decided to watch despite initially being rather turned off at the prospect of yet another no-name street course set up in the middle of a town.

This was for Race 1, btw.

INDYCAR officials determined that the infractions did not impact on the finishing order of the race or final position of the offending team.

So the car being illegal doesn't make a difference? That's actually what they're saying?

Well fuck me, the flood gates just opened there eh.

Didn't Coyne's team also get fines for infractions after Wilson's victory at TMS a couple of years back? I remember it was non-conformity to certain pieces of bodywork.
