Bottom line is neither discipline is 100% safe so they might as well run both to give us a different kind of start-line herpa-derpa
for a change.

Still prefer this than the "Front 2 rows are side by side, fuck it, that'll do, lets throw the green flag even though the rest of the field are spread out" kind of start...
