Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

according to Tony D:

Tom Brady & Jimmie Johnson are rumored to be entering a Indy 500 one-off with Chip Ganassi Racing

Sebastian Bourdais is rumored as the driver of the entry with Carvana sponsorship

It's FOX - there won't be any as they are still ultra hardcore to the old style cable model for sports (they seriously only do streaming for the news division, not even joking)

even ARCA won't have any simulcast races on Flo this year

Venu was a happy medium for them because it was still the cable model like Fubo, Hulu or YouTube TV

Tom Brady, the football player? Does he drive, or as a manager/owner?

Brady would be one of the owners alongside JJ and Ganassi. Seabass would be the driver. He already owns a minority share of Team Jota.

which to note: Ganassi's WEC program went to JOTA this year with General Motors

JP on Atlas (who spent a long time working for various CART\Indycar teams and so has connections) says that this idea came together at Le Mans last year and that the original choice of driver was da Costa, until Porsche locked him down.

Assuming it comes off, this would guarantee bumping, with 2 more Honda leases on the market.

-----------------------------

Hinch has put pen to paper and is FOX's first official signing. TBell should follow soon but he is preoccupied with bigger concerns (two of his houses no longer exist).

Please put Seabass and Romain in a car for the 500 please, I want to wave a French flag at the 500 while serving red wine from a 2-liter 'cubi' (cardboard box, the lowest form of wine there is)

If no French driver, or worse, they get bumped, then I'll go full coward and bandwagon behind whichever American driver will carry the most hype by then.

Dillon Welch is one part of the NBC team who won't be transferring across - he has been picked up by the CW for their Xfinity coverage.

I like Buxton and I think he'll really suit Indycar. Great choice

They say that being an Indycar commentator is one of the toughest gigs in the sport. But No one is giving you any free rides in the Indycar broadcasting world, you have to earn them

/DTS

(Saying that, if he's going over to Indycar, surely the narrator/over exaggerator role in Drive to Survive is open for the new season, gotta be one or other other hasn't it?)

Hinch juggles Indycar and F1 roles, so I wonder if Buxton will still have an F1 presence

He's said his goodbyes to F1TV on his Instagram post so it doesn't look like it.

There are certain moments... where silence falls on a commentary box.

The Indycar on FOX YouTube channel has launched, with plenty of interviews from the first day of Media/Content Day.

https://www.youtube.com/@INDYCARonFOX/videos

Elsewhere, FOX is bringing helmet and drone cameras to Indycar.

Interestingly Will mentions he has an 18 month old. I wonder if that's a factor in his decision to cover a series with a lot less travel and time away from home required

not really anything new tho - just the modern Bell developed version (always felt odd that FOX had the exclusivity over it nationally)

glad IMS Productions & INDYCAR are trying to break the Racing Force exclusivity though with the program.
