Wait what the fuck is the point of not counting caution laps if the time allowed for the race is so short that 1 caution causes it to finish early?

The 20 minutes is because they are trying to fit it all into a normal TV window. Maybe it could have been 25 - would have been interesting to see if Herta and Siegel could hold on for the full distance.

I get the feeling Illot was asked to move over for the two regular drivers.

Also, during the 10 minute break in the main race I wonder if anyone will try the "my tyres are damaged to the point it's unsafe so they need changing" trick.

Or you could do the opposite, if you are at the back drive really fucking slowly for the first half then you will have much better tyres for the second half, but all the time you lost will be negated.
