Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

On another note, contained in today's Mailbag is Pruett's assured belief that the 33rd car for May will be DRR's second entry, and that RC Enerson is currently the most likely driver. Honda are unlikely to push the boat out to 18 leases unless a name driver comes along, but there is the outside prospect of another Chevy on top of that to make 34.

IndycarLive has been relaunched, full season pass (live races) is now called All Access and it is unexpectedly cheaper ($29.99 or $19.99 in some countries) than last year ($39.99).

There is now also Access Plus which has the same extra content but without live races.

https://www.indycarlive.com

Availability (Race: Yes = All Access should be available): https://www.indycar.com/-/media/files/2 ... s_2023.pdf

Purchasing via VPN works as it did last year, it does not check credit card country.

"Availability in Belgium: all races but indy 500". Fuck that! No channel has ever shown the Indy 500 here, ever. Yet they block their biggest race online, wtf?! Again, indycar will get no money from me this year.

There might be a cable channel showing Indy on the French side of Belgium, but those channels are not available in the flemmish part of the country. Big discrimination this.

Edit: I e-mailed support, and this was their (quick) answer:

"Hello!

Unfortunately you will not be able to watch the Indy 500 from Belgium.
Med vänlig hälsning,
Erik på Staylive"

What a joke.

To answer my own question, you need the vpn for both signup and viewing the stream.
I apparently live in a country that has live races, the links work and it tells you when the race is, cough, so I changed my location to uk and then it says not available in your location.

Now I just need to work out the urls and how to record all these main and in car streams, but I don’t think I’ll stick them on YouTube this time, I like my present channel and don’t want this one nuked….. lol

Looks like too late for you but Estonia is $19.99. There are probably others but Estonia was the only one I found via my VPN.

I have figured this out already (there wasn't much to figure out vs. last year, still no proper encryption). PM for more info because it is off topic here.

Pruett on the 500 entry list; https://racer.com/2023/03/15/indy-500-e ... st-update/

tl;dr
-There are a guaranteed 33 cars - the unannounced 33rd entry will be the 2nd Dreyer & Reinbold car and has everything in place, including a driver.
-There will not be an extra Honda - Johnson announced yesterday that he was doing the 600 and that it was not part of an attempt at the double.
-But there may be a 17th Chevy as Foyt is looking for sponsors, and if they find 2, they will need to roll out a 3rd car to fulfil their commitments to ABC Supply.
-If that scenario does not transpire, car 34 may come from Abel Motorsports, who are looking to graduate to the big series and see a 500 campaign as a good starting point.
-Paretta is still trying to make something happen as well.

Much better than last year's effort.

------------------

The entry list for the 500 is set at 34, with Abel\Enerson to be announced soon. Paretta was pursuing a tie-up with Foyt, but decided instead on building another partial programme for later in the year.

Could anyone here record the 100 days to Indy documentary and upload it somewhere? As far as I understand I won't have any legal way to watch it, and it's probably similar for other Europeans.

Probably going to appear on general torrent trackers since it is airing on a tv channel.

I believe I've seen somewhere that VICE might be releasing it on one of their mediums on a week or 2 delay
