IndyCar allowed everyone to pit before throwing the yellow. Top 5 would have been screwed otherwise.

I still really fucking hate that indycar does that

Their job: ensuring the track is safe for racing at all times

Not their job: Strategy fairness between teams

They compromise their actual job to do something that isn't in their wheelhouse, and it is gonna bite them when someone crashes into a car in a "safe" position
