Lights race was very entertaining, but certainly had a controversial finish. Lundvqist and Brabham had a great battle for the win going for several laps near the end, but Lundqvist slid up in front of Brabham off the corner and broke his front wing. He went on to take the checkers, but after the race he got penalized for avoidable contact and McElrea moved up into the win.
