Kellett becomes victim #1.

Dalton Kellett just spun in turn 1 and hit hard with the left side. He's okay, but the left side of the car is wiped out. It got up on its side a little but settled back down quickly.

I just looked up some Indy 500 trivia, because I wondered who the oldest living 500 starter is. Turns out it's a dude named Paul Goldsmith, who started as a rookie in 1958. But he was already 32 doing so. So I wondered, if there is an alive younger but earlier starter.
Turns out: There isn't. The earliest Indy 500 start by a person still alive was in 1958.
But it wasn't just Goldsmith.
There was another rookie in '58 who's still alive. His name is A.J. Foyt.

IndyCar Live has moved from it's beta stage - international viewers that want to use the service will have to pay for races - $40 for the rest of the season; $15 for the 500 standalone.

Practices, qualifying & Indy Lights coverage will remain free

Actual launch was 5 days ago and email newsletters were sent then.

Due to the timing it seem like they sensed a good time to cash in but clearly paywalling was the plan all along (why else would it have required an account, they also sent out a survey a couple of weeks ago).

It already worked better than some paid ones so I'm tempted.

Looks great for raceday though, so I’ll take this trade every time.

Track's nearly dry apparently so I think they'll still get practice in

It cuts off whenever the scheduled end time is. Seems like the kind of thing you might fix during a beta stage

It's back but "I can't watch in my current location". Weird, since I don't think our paid service was going to show it anyway

Sky F1 are scheduled to be showing it delayed right now, but instead of taking the opportunity to show it live, they're showing... the rain delay. Complete incompetence all round.
