If this is a big problem, why they just don't make a line between T1 and T2 so they're going full T1 at pit speed limiter?

Forecast for the rest of the day looks decent. Hopefully they can get it dried out and the rain holds off.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Gotta believe the cars will be on track soonish. The track looks good, there’s a bit of sun, and all the cars and teams are busy on pit row at the moment.

Three spins in the warmup lane is really concerning. I can’t remember the last time it happened at all (we’re not gonna count Graham’s wheel falling off last May). I know it was chilly yesterday but still, they’ve practice and tested up there a lot in cool weather without this being a problem.

Gonna answer myself here. There’s an article on Motorsport.com about some work IMS did recently. They added some sealer to the warmup lanes in the fall, which is supposed to help keep moisture at bay. It’s believed that was causing the extra slickness yesterday, and the track has since done some tire dragging in the warmup lane to try and rubber it in a bit. Hopefully the rain hasn’t messed up that progress. In any case, hopefully everyone is extra careful on it today and waits until next month to really work it in. Obviously at some point everyone is gonna have to start pushing it, because you’ll never contend for the win if you’re tiptoeing around on your outlaps after green flag stops.

LOL at that still from the video, the uploader must've searched through a few mins before he found the one frame to add to the Will Power funny faces collection

Reminds me when we randomly had a thread on here with a chain of drivers pulling stupid faces, peak TBK, it started with this:

Big speed today. Kansan currently top at 228.2. This is all race pace. Wonder if this will equate to BIG speeds on qualifying weekend.
