Those flowers have taken a beating this weekend, a Porsche ended up in almost exactly the same place yesterday |

pending wrote: That bump threw Herta off. Amazed they stayed green after that one, kudos to the officials The implication was they were just going to wait for everyone to complete their pitstops THEN throw the yellow to clean up the track from Colton's debris An element of INDYCAR race direction I always fucking HATE, either the track is dangerous or it isn't.... But as is always the way when you're trying to control yellows, they have a habit of forcing their way onto you without you being able to do anything about it Gaara wrote: Dunno what Pag was thinking by driving right back onto them. Probably "FUCKING HELL THERE'S A CAR ABOUT TO HIT ME HEAD ON! PANIC!" |

Ericsson is out. This race is only missing Palou & Newgarden collision. |

I've not seen another corner across the whole of motorsports that does more to PREVENT a car getting a run on the car in front than the final hairpin at long beach It feels like the front "straight" needs to be at least twice as long so the cars can recover the distance lost by running through the hairpin... |

Genuinely one of the worst corners in motorsport Every time I see a helicopter shot of that area of the track and its surroundings I'm trying to mentally plan a new track layout or even a return to an old track layout just to see if there's a way to eliminate it IDC if it ruins the flow of the end of the lap, it can't be worse for racing than that hairpin |
