You always need a heel to root against

Working well for me in F1, F2, BTCC and Indycar atm, those are the top 4 of my main Motorsport passions this year and I have heroes and especially villians in all of them.

A wide-ranging interview. The tl;dr -

-CBS has backed away from any move to bring Indycar onto their network as their schedule is full.
-There is currently no planned replacement for Toronto.
-There are "two really good possibilities" for an extra engine supplier, and Penske is confident of adding at least one of them for the new regulations.
-Bobby Rahal and HyVee are trying to save Iowa Speedway.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

No idea who that is but it times must be good for Indycar if even Dale Coyne can afford a 3rd car...

Wasn't he supposed to run the ovals this season, and all of a sudden funding became an issue? I'm not up to date with him as driver so don't know how good he is, but it always seemed a bit risky to see him debut at Texas or Indy

looking increasingly likely that NBC will stick around, and that the other notable networks has dropped their offers (CBS most notably said both IndyCar & NASCAR are off the table due to lack of air space)

Looks to be official now for Cody Ware making his debut at Road America. He'll be missing the Nashville NASCAR race to make the start as well.

Damn that sucks for VeeKay, not sure if they'll need a replacement for this weekend.

Someone needs to tell him the indycar blocking rules are very different to F1s and the first time he tries to "pull a magnussen" on the long straight, he's getting a penalty

The circumstances arent ideal, but I'm super excited to see KMag in an indycar. Him and Power will collide, Power will get out and give him double middle fingers while Kevin will slowly walk away telling him to suck his balls rofl

Has Magnussen tested an IndyCar before? If not, seems a tad ambitious just jumping straight into a race weekend, will be quite the learning curve. :o

I still want them to come to Kentucky Speedway. The PJ1 should be about worn off here and there's really nothing else going on. Also, the track isn't insanely bumpy anymore. All the stars are aligned.
