Damn I love the racing at this track for IndyCar - especially when the conditions are slicker.

I know some think the early bits was a snoozer, but just love the ebb n' flow of long runs, tire wear, lap traffic and the comers & goers

It's the kind of race where you have to know going in that you won't see passing every single lap, and that's fine. It's all about the strategy of when to pit and when cautions come out, navigating through lapped traffic, getting by guys on old tires when you have fresh rubber as quickly as possible, etc. It's like building chaos the longer you go into a green flag run, and I fucking love it. I used to not be crazy about Iowa, but lately it's been awesome, especially with the lower downforce aero package.

Opposite curse working well it seems, I gotta use it for good and not evil at some point :slaphead:

Impressed with the airbourne crash tbh. An IRL era Dallara would've started pitching the nose upward and backflipped into the barrier.
This car just went up and came straight back down flat.

Not ideal but not much you can do when there's so much wheel to wheel physics involved.

Waking up my GF at 6am before work by checking the youtube highlights (with headphones on) and shouting "OH FOR FUCKS SAKE" wasn't ideal.... 8O

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
