Is he still not going to run any other oval on the schedule? Seems less than ideal for his competitive chances.

Probably not. Tbh his Indy attempts resemble my attempts to get fit. I got a gym membership.

I would guess that he still holds some hope of going back to F1 next year and so wouldn't be able to do Indy,

That video is pretty good, however the music is cringeworthy, it's like I'm at the fucking mall. Whatever happened to good old rock and heavy metal to promote badassery.

Edit: a friend of mine who's not even a motorsport fan suggested this:

How badass would this promo be, lol

Mhm! If they HAD to make new music, why not from Colton Herta's band, instead of that awful EDM bro

EDM's "what the kids like" or something, the problem is that song is pretty weak. It's not like there hasn't been electronic music (particularly on the drum and bass or dubstep side) that upped the heavy rock / metal aspect (Pendulum and Celldweller come to mind.)

IndyCar and SportsNet has re-worked their television package for 2020.

10 races will be on SN360, 7 races will be on SN World (Barber, Long Beach, CoTA, Indy GP, Detroit I, Detroit II, Mid-Ohio) - 4 of those are NBC network races (which is simulcast in Canada). SN+ will stream every practice session, qualifying session & race.

Miller believes that there will be 36 again for the 500 - there are currently 30 confirmed car\driver combinations, DragonSpeed will be running a car but have not announced a driver (Hanley is currently St. Pete only), whilst DRR and Carlin are expected to have a 2nd car each but nothing more has been confirmed from that end, which would make 33.

The other 3 that Miller expects are another Coyne car with Byrd\Belardi\Hollinger running James Davison as last year, a fourth Foyt car for Seabass and Juncos to again pull something together.

guessing it's a promotional bit, or a seat fit for a test session later this year (as NASCAR Cup schedule has only 1 off week that IndyCar runs on)
