Johnson confirmed with sponsor.

No ovals, and no current plan to share the car with anyone else.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Ericsson to stay at Ganassi.

Another affirmation that the plan is to continue running 3 full-time cars, but someone has to bring money for the #10.

Im trying to a make a retrospective over the best moments of the year for the Swedish Indycar podcast I'm co-hosting.

I'm struggling to think of some really great overtakes this year. I have Felix on Pato in Road America, JoNew on Palou and Herta in St. Pete and Sato on Pato at Gateway. Anyone else can think of something else?

What about close calls or silly mistakes?

That escalated quickly. Jenna Fryer floated that as a rumour yesterday.

Good for him, and it gives Coyne plenty of time to find someone with a wallet.

Just how are they going to be better off than with Ed Jones? Back to 2014-2018 form for CGR #10.

Dunno if that silly season is especially silly, or if I am, but there's a lot of things I didn't see coming.
And also I reckon Palou a lot stronger than Jones.

He's only there because of money. Basically Marco Andretti with money.

Romain Grosjean says he's now open to driving in indycar next year. He can start blaming Ericsson for hitting him again

https://www.autoweek.com/racing/formula ... -grosjean/

And here's the info and timing sheet for the test at Barber on monday. Johnson has a long way to go. He was 1.3 seconds slower than the next slowest car. (which just happened to be Marco lol)
https://www.motorsport.com/indycar/news ... n/4903085/

They'll be testing at Laguna Seca next tuesday. I believe it's a closed test but does anyone know for sure? I can't find it anywhere online and I'd love to go.

my guess would be closed just from California's spectator restrictions with COVID, but not sure if there's any park loopholes that Laguna falls into.

i know some are just buying pit passes at the local tracks / regional club racing meets in restricted states tho

I was really hoping for one of the younger guys to fill that seat (possibly Askew). I know they wants Helio's experience and some coaching for Harvey but Helio is waaaay past his prime in Indycar and in recent years has had some stupid moves and mistakes. (see last weekend in the IMSA race at Laguna Seca rofl)

Good for Helio. Maybe he gets one more proper tilt at Indy as opposed to being the Penske odds-and-sods car.

Yay, 6 more races of jump start and tax-avoidance jokes :whistling:

Seriously tho, the dude is old. I guess he's resorted to pay driving now but he still makes boneheaded moves in IMSA so I don't expect anything different in INDYCAR

And he'll never get his 3rd Indy Win and he knows it
