Herta had an overlap well before the corner and Dixon just never left him a full car-width until he'd already forced Herta to clip the apron. Not sure where this "Herta wrecks Dixon" nonsense is coming from.

Herta had wheels below the white line. All the passes happened on the outside so far, I have no idea what he was thinking there.

Yeaa watching it again, Dixon doesn't leave him much room.

Very different to his crash with Sato.

This. 100% Dixon’s fault.

Almost carbon copy of Bourdais and Rahal at Indy.

At least Rossi didn't win, fairly anticlimactic

Lets form a lynch mob and steal all of Eddie Gossage's wealth and interests.

Rossi just couldn't make a pass on the outside all night.

Penske might be 82 yo but Cindric will keep the dominance going IMO.

Penske are imo the top racing organisation in the world at the moment, they're regularly winning in everything they compete in

Yeah good ol' Tim is basically Roger's son. They've had so much success together for so long.

Another strong 2nd for Rossi. Guy just can't buy a win right now.

Man, didn't realise just how close Rossi was to clipping the front of Herta's car.

Well that was a good quick-hitting race with few incidents. Good action up front too.

Too bad Sato was a non-factor though.

I love the way Sato's mechanic just got up, grabbed the rear wing and pulled the car back and got on with the stop, it's a shame none of the commentators noticed it, that was dedication since the rear wing tore right through the back of his overalls.

A pretty good race all in, kept me awake which is unusual for Indy night races.

I'm amazed at how good that race ended up being despite turns 1 and 2 being stupidly difficult. If the groove ever widens up and allows multiple grooves through 1 and 2, I feel like the track might actually be really good for IndyCar racing someday. It'll never be worth a shit for NASCAR, but I'll take what I can get.

Funny how Dixon has gone from Mr consistency to mr "Crashes at almost every oppurtunity"

And yeah, he was at fault, you just can't block like that on ovals AND then expect the car to just vanish from your inside and take the corner as normal.
