I find amusing how they find a way to pass on the outside. Some years ago passing on the outside at indy was certain crash

Lap 1, green track maybe

Anyway, looked like such a new surface that it didn't rubber up that much, so the main line wasn't all that much faster. Normally its the opposite for a new track.

Anyone know when the last time a Menards sponsored car won the 500? It must've been back in the IRL days...

This was the first time that Menards won the 500 as a primary sponsor

A car with Menards primary sponsorship hasn't won the race till this year despite many tries and many good runs for years and years.
