Classic CART tbh. I was amazed when I learned they didn't even use tyre warmers.

Based on DTM this year, More series *cough* F1 *cough* should be looking into banning them too, makes the racing around pitstops more exciting

They discussed the idea about 10-12 years ago and the drivers reacted like they were planning to ban seatbelts and helmets. :slaphead:

If there's two movies I'm sick of seeing ads for, it's Mamma Mia and Skyscraper.

Well, Dixon taking this championship is a foregone conclusion, but at least it is entertaining.

I'm glad it is Dixon. He hasn't had the best luck recently despite always being "there". He is one of CART/IndyCar's greatest drivers.

His 2001 season was utterly amazing in the regrettably shitty PacWest car.

I used to not like him but he is a great driver.

If he'd literally just finished the Indy 500 last season in the top 10 he'd have been champion too

Are you accounting for double points in the final race?

Because it might look like you have an odds-on champion all season long, but then that double points BS can take it all from you

There's so few Lights cars they let them start at the normal start finish line instead of the backstraight

Not a bad race so far though, couple of passes.

Amazing pass by Herta around the outside of the Keyhole :8:

Not a bad race considering the lack of cars, top 4 positions were hard fought anyway, even if in the end Herta didn't have anything for O'Ward.
