Wasn't expecting defending like that on an oval.

Good race, close all day, Kanaan didn't kill anyone by blocking, not dominated by pit strategy

Not bad.

Made sure that Newgarden lost the draft and went down before he could make the move so it wasn't a reactionary move. Quite clever really.

Damn good race! Very smart racing by Power there

I really need to make sure I get up to Pocono next year for this race.

Pretty good race. Just got home. Traffic getting out was nice. Don't know how big the crowd was but the parking lot was pretty full. First half was a bit of a snoozer, second half was damn good. Power and Newgarden both had excellent drives.

Definitely some proper maneuvering by Power there at the end. Maybe he's finally getting a hold of this oval racing lark. :P

In F1, if you are not in the top 4 after the first corner, forget it. Long pitstop because of bodywork changes, forget it. Lap down and last, forget it. You probably won't even score points.

Would have been different on a road course, but still.

Sorry for being that guy, but Canada 2011. An eventful race with cautions give those kinds of opportunities, it just happens that oval racing is more eventful and has more cautions.

That race was exactly what IndyCar needed - no major incidents, lots of passes and what seemed like a good crowd :)

I was listening to Newgarden's radio for pretty much the whole race. As they crossed the line Cindric said, "Great job, good points day guys." Told me all I needed to know about how Josef was going to race Will. Unless Power handed him a golden opportunity, I don't think he's was going to try too hard to pass him. Going around the outside in T3 is asking to fire it in the wall.
