10, as always.

Well, maybe a 9 due to all the cautions. But still, holy hell what a race.

10. Some of the wildest racing I've seen in 25 years. A great winner. Some spectacular jaw-dropping, heart-stopping moments. It was a great day.

What. A. Race.

Let's hope the rest of the IndyCar season builds on it. I'm just so relieved that no one got seriously injured. Can't wait for Bourdais to return and so glad Dixon escaped from that one. Holy hell.

The Indy 500 as a season finale would be awesome but it would never happen because tradition.

IIRC Randy thought of shifting the season so the season either started or ended with the 500 (as in, the season would start with the 500 in may and be extended longer into the traditional off season instead of stopping in Oct)

Instead they decided to just stop in Sept and hide from Football....

10. This doesn't need to be a season finale, a championship fight would kind of spoil the race I think, now just the win is important, no one talks about championship standings. Did they even show the championship points at the end? I don't think so

Brilliant race.

Also 10/10 for Alonso, who proved he was able to fight with the best all week.

Definite 10. The best race you'll see all year. Can't wait for next year already
