I thought that Fox News was the only conservative branch of the group and Fox would be the main channel for silly shows like American Idol and Simpsons

EDIT: just saw that Fox and Friends is on Fox News, if they set that channel on fire no one will miss it

You can say that for any 24-hour news network. They're all garbage. Fox News is just the easy target because of the "lolconservatives" mindset.

The 24-hour news cycle has caused news reporting and journalism in general to go to shit. It's just easy to single out the one whose overhyped ideology you don't like.

So yea, gona have a wee rant here, I didn't get to watch the race live but was going to download it after work and watch it in the evening, unfortunately the result got spoiled for me through youtube, the tbklight upload of the finish came up as a suggested video when I was listening to music and "2016 Indy 500 finish - Rossi Wins" was the title, I threw my headphones off in disgust so maybe a suggestion of perhaps not putting spoilers in the title until a few days after?

What's not to get? It's a show populated with garden-variety conservative dipshits. So, the drivers who lost didn't have to to there.

Would have been especially hilarious seeing them trying to act interested and friendly interviewing an immigrant winner (Munoz) just before or after another fucking Trump phone-in.

I'm a conservative dipshit then.

Only if you're "garden variety."

You're not wrong but Fox News is far and away the shittiest of a shitty bunch.

They have people starting the cleanup as soon as the race is over.

The main priority is to get the hundreds of thousands of people out of the facility. Just as when you rent a seat cushion, they tell you to "leave it where you sit" and they'll collect it after the race.

or just dont take everything so seriously.

just cos you know the winner doesnt mean you know how it came to be.

Well, tbh, the Indy 500 is THE event to be serious about. Absolutely gutting for you, Juihi. But that's getting increasingly hard to avoid as society has gotten so medialized.

maybe is because the race is too long, but I'm completely ok by watching the highlights and the finish plus post race rather than download the whole thing and getting bored after 45 minutes

by the way, till today I didn't watched the finish for 2010 race

Usually I wouldn't care if it was any other race but like dicksplaash says, it's the Indy 500!!!, so was super excited for it, and I suppose it just took the whole "omg he did it" surprise totally out of the race for me, but I know I probably shouldn't have been listening to music on youtube in the first place, but I suppose my inital post was just a suggestion to stop other race fans getting spoilers soon after a race
