It's almost as they are dirt tracking it in the corners, especially Marco looks sideways (yet under control) on entry. I hate to think what will happen if someone gets checked up and has to suddenly get off the throttle.

Is this a 500 miler or 10? The way these guys are behaving it's as if they've never done a long distance race before... or any racing for the matter.

Interesting rear guard wing settings on the Chevys I just noticed! Skewed, none on the right side, or none at all!

I hope they have some beta-blockers in the booth for Steve. He's not used to seeing racing like this for more than 3 corners of the first lap of a race, lol.

I was going to ask if those cloudy skies might indicate incoming rain, but even if that were the case we're STILL 100 laps from an official race. I guess everyone is just very comfortable with their cars.

No, added downforce. Cooler temperatures would make the cars have more grip and probably racier.
