Didn't think much of the race until the last quarter but those last few laps were as good as it gets. Glad Pagenaud won - he's been untouchable for most of May, and it's always good when the top guys tick Indy off the list

Awesome last few laps, one of the best finishes of the race, if not the best. It all depends on what defines a good finish for ya...

As good as he was today, I still think is win two weeks ago was more impressive. But this month as whole was incredible for the 22 team. Must feel like kings now.

Fantastic race. Pags thoroughly earned that one.
I can't believe they got the whole thing in without even as much of a threat of rain.

Incredible race! I think the tire & wicker improvements helped for sure, just a little easier to get a run on someone but the cars are still on a knife edge. Bravo to IndyCar & Firestone on that!

Pags got so lucky with that red flag, his fuel mileage was nearly 1:1 with iRacing (he was doing 30 lap stints - which is about around 0.60 gallons a lap for 18.5 gallons with the full bore fuel map in iRacing)

so was that the fastest 500 ever run or do they count the red flag period as racing time?

At least NBC didn't stick us with wife cam the last 1/4th of the race.

Just laughed out loud at Taku offering Hailey McDermott a high five and touching her shoulder instead. Awkward

Tinfoil on: Bourdais crashed on purpose to help Pagenaud with his strategy #LaFrenchConspiracy

Pagenaud was dominant, not really that dramatic since it was quite predictable. Buuut I'm cynical, I know.

This coverage was miles better! For the first time ever you didn't have to think about it!

As much as I do not care for Rossi, he had by far the most impressive run. Not even counting the shit pit stops and mad driving, him passing a car doing 230 with one hand on the wheel and the other giving the other guy the business was a worthy feat on its own

Just like F1, the polesitter always wins and the predicted rain doesn't happen... :whistling:
