If the guide is accurate, there will only be radio for qualifying, Carb Day and the race. No other practice.

I know it's early, we're only an hour into practice, but I'm a bit concerned about how bad the dirty air seems to be this year with the aeroscreen.

Hah, wasn't too difficult to predict it would be C8 Stingray, but I even got color right with my prediction.

Hinch just mentioned that he isn't too concerned with what he felt running behind Power earlier. Hopefully that's an encouraging sign.

Harvey and Pagenaud already doing some passing, drafting and following. Maybe Aeroscreen makes it easier to follow? Of course too early to say, but it looks encouraging.

Early in practice when I was worried about dirty air, Dixon looked like he was absolutely fighting the car like crazy in dirty air and having to lift way out of the throttle. Now here in the last few minutes he's able to follow twice as close as he was an hour ago, and he isn't fighting the wheel like he was. Looking much better.

Dixon got a pretty good tug off of Hinch and Pagenaud to crack 224.

Dixie top of the board at 224+.

Looks like 12 cars for ROPs and refreshers.

Interestingly, only 3 are Hondas.

What's going on with Hanley and DragonSpeed? No aeroscreen? Or Top Gun / R. C. Enerson buy out? :?

Still preparing. Just not rushing to get out there, potentially make a mistake and lose their car.

Yeah, they finally showed the garage in the broadcast, not so much drama as described earlier.

They always speak so highly about Townsend's Indycar career on NBC, despite him never even doing half a season, lol
