Rahal moved before Dixon so that should be safe |

I'm pleased. I had a 50 bet on Rossi winning at 10/3. |

Ganassi gets the rub over Rahal, lol. That's a BS call. |

Dumb penalty. That was hard but fair defense. Dixon lucks into a podium. |

And now legitimate racing is being penalised. Indycar's gone full F1 today |

That's a fair move. He moved before Dixon and still left a lane. |

Don't agree with Dixon's comments. Looking at the overhead footage, looks like Rahal committed to the inside a fraction before Dixon moved. |

More like a Ganassi- bias. It's Ferrari F1 levels tbh. |

I respect the prestige and history of this race, but it pretty much always just plain sucks shit. The track...it’s real bad, folks. |

Yup. US equivalent of Monaco. |

At least Monaco is a fun track to watch an F1 car rip around. Long Beach isn't even fun for that kinda thing. |

Soul Reaver wrote: Finally not called Bubba Burger, wich means Bubblegum and Hamburguer. That's not how I like Long Beach. More like Die Hard Grand Prix. Just caught this. Bubba Burger only sponsors the IMSA race. That's it. Title sponsor used to be Toyota until they gave it up since the move the sales base to Texas IIRC. (btw, Rahal was proactive in blocking, not reactive. He got screwed) Chris A wrote: I respect the prestige and history of this race, but it pretty much always just plain sucks shit. The track...it’s real bad, folks. Honestly, I agree. The fountain sector needs to go, quick. I would say "pray that the city of Long Beach and the Angels to agree on a contract to build a stadium on the 'Elephant Lot' (turns 9-10-11)", but I'd rather not have that happen tbh. |

What a drive by Rossi, Andretti got this place figured out BS penalty on Rahal there mostly meh but decent race for Long Beach terms in recent years, there was a few good battles (Power & Dixie being the best that I recall). Not the best by any means but there's always going to be some good races & always going to be some duds. - video from today's Stadium Super Trucks race - LOL at some fans (especially on the NASCAR front) on Twitter complaining about Rossi giving a ass whoopin, complaining about the race having a long green flag run & then some suggesting competition yellows. What's next that you want? points reset if 1 team is 20 points ahead in the Super Bowl in the 4th quarter? |

What's next that you want? points reset if 1 team is 20 points ahead in the Super Bowl in the 4th quarter? Emulating NASCAR's rules tomfoolery is the last thing any series should do right now. This race was already over-officiated (with the BS call on Rahal) enough. I understand that the Long Beach track was more interesting back in it's early days (especially with the elevation changes when it was incorporating some of Ocean Drive)... in the modern era it would probably be better if they cut out the fountain section, but it still wouldn't be very great. It's a street circuit, so there's only a limited amount you can do... most street courses aren't terribly good. |
