I think they worked with Firestone to develop a new RF tire (maybe new right sides altogether) for this year's 500.

Juncos gets a primary sponsor for the 500.

250ok, which is a tech company of sorts. Something about e-mail marketing strategies.

Damn, hope Marshall's wife is going to be OK.

Some of the guys on another board seemed to think Monday's practice session indicated that it would spicier racing than last year. We shall see of course. With the forecast, if they get it started, could easily be craziness as they race to halfway.

Little Al fucking up again. I can understand and sympathize with the battle with addiction but its the constantly getting behind the wheel in that state thats unforgivable tbh. As a New Mexican ive been a partisan fan of the Unsers my whole life but now cant help but be ashamed and embarrassed for Al Jr.

^^ You can only help if they want your help (speaking from experience of this exact issue unfortunately), he will either 1) eventually realise his flaws and ask for help or 2) die (like my father-in-law did).

just looked on Weather.com

forecast not looking that good for Carb Day or the Little 500 / Legends Day

iffy for Hoosier Hundred depending on how much it rains on Wednesday & Thursday AM

Sunday still calling scattered thunderstorms - like usual in Indiana though

hopefully Mother Nature will spare us this week for those in Indiana, given how much shit she's given to the midwest & east coast so far this spring

Sunday now at 80% chance of thunderstorms, mostly in the morning & scattered in the afternoon - wind forecast to be 10 MPH WSW

Well at least it might be cool if they do manage to get racing? Which they drivers are saying will be better for action

Zak Brown just mentioned on Sky's Monaco coverage that McLaren wanted to bring their own steering wheel, but realised late on that it wouldn't be ready in time. Hence the problems in finding one before their Texas test

To be honest, their attempt to qualify was great, in the sense that we get to see an exciting bump day. And would've been a good story too, if they managed to qualify, with all the shenanigans that happened before. Not an underdog story, though.

With them aware of all the issues they had, starting in Texas, maybe to withdraw the entry or look for a last minute proper alliance (meaning, not Carlin), would've been the most sensible move.

This all sounds very MasterCard Lola. They rushed everything.

Robert Megennis on pole for the Freedom 100 with a 194MPH average. Andretti locked out the first 2 rows with Oliver Askew in 2nd, Ryan Norman in 3rd & Sprint Car ace Jarrett Andretti in 4th

Belardi was able to get a sub-driver after ZCD ran out of sponsorship, Aaron Telitz will pilot his former car - starting in 6th

USAC Sprint Car regular Chris Windom qualifed 10th

11 cars are starting in total
