Probably, but I doubt it. ServusTV did it in 2012 in order to make up for the Daytona 500 chaos (which was very similar to this!)

Yeah there was fuck all tickets left when I looked about a month ago. Luckily, my family had bought extra tickets.

I was looking yesterday too.

You can get good seats and a parking pass on stub hub but you're going to pay dearly for them. I thought about it but then I looked at plane tickets and it'd be way cheaper to drive. Hotels are still available at a reasonable rate an hour away in Bloomington but I don't know about the 12-13 hour drive from CT to IN. For the wife and I it'd be about $1400 for two tickets, parking pass and hotel from Saturday-Monday. That excludes everything else (gas, food, souvenir's, etc.) Now, those are for top deck in T1 seats, so that price is high due to that.

I think my long standing tradition of Oswego on Saturday night and watching the 500 with my parents on Sunday will continue again this year. Indy should look damn good on their 55" LED TV.

Boston Globe also reporting that the race at Seaport has been canceled. Also states that the promoters are on Plan B now with trying to find a replacement location and has been in contact with 2 cities in the Northeast
