Now it gets interesting. They just pitted, and they can't make it from here. Who rolls the dice and tops off with one to go and tries to make it 40 laps?

Dixon

Dixon will do that

It's all he knows

Maybe because the SAFER barriers bounce you away?

Safer also makes crashes look much worser, but the drivers feel much less

I think they all learnt their lesson from last year.

Now, if there's another crash with 160 to go...

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Think I'd rather have two impacts with SAFER than one with concrete

I hope this doesn't go to fuel mileage, although I could live with a Sato win.

Some drivers are pitting including Sato hoping for another yellow to stay out on track while all the other will have to pit.

No one can make 42 laps with a full tank anyway.

I guess the cars are stronger these days. The Safer barrier would be a factor as well. When the cars weren’t as strong and they hit concrete the car would just disintegrate instead of bounce off the wall (the safer barrier acts like a bit of a spring when they hit it hard enough)
