That's the picture I'm gonna show everyone who says that oval racing is stupid and easy, just turning left, no sweat, not real motorsport.

God damn, tomorrow is the race day! I feel so hyped up! This is real Indy500!

And everything is open question mark for the race. How's the aeroscreen gonna impact the race? How about August heat? I hope it doesn't rain, but could that be a factor too?

And the most important question of all: Can he do it? This was a question none of us saw coming, but we all want to know the answer. Will the curse finally end or will it get just another chapter?

For the one hundred and fourth time, bring it! Bring it Indianapolis Motorspeedway!

Is there a Freedom 100 this year??

Nope, no Indy Lights this year. After Covid-19 hit the lack of entries meant they decided to regroup the championship.

Last time I visited the IMS museum and did a track tour, I took a picture similar to Willie's but from closer to the outside wall so you can see just how far turn 1 goes off into the distance. Absolutely nuts to think how fast they can go through there.

Weather looks like it should be okay tomorrow. Pretty warm, but should be dry.

Freedom 75 or 90 or whatever it was called was instead held yesterday at Lucas Oil Raceway.

the IP2000 & USF2000 races have always been held at IRP in some form or another - started with F2000 & Super Vees during the Night Before The 500 in the 1980's

no Freedom 100 this year because of lack of car count / series canceled the entire season

1 out of 4 models shows one insanely tiny shower during the race. It'll be dry and 30 degress C.

Fan builds tree platform 40 feet in air at a random guy's house in turn 3 to watch the race

I don't know for sure. There is a Thim guy who hosts the Off Track podcast with Hinch and Rossi. 's kinda like their sidekick and both pretend they don't like him but they're clearly friends and he often goes to the races and is in the Andretti pits. Fairly sure Marco knows him.

I swear after all the potential feel good stories, if Dixon backs into this one with fuel saving it'll be the most underwhelming race in history.

C'mon anyone but Dixon (sorry man.....)

it'll be like 1994, but Marco instead of Emmo and Dixon instead of Little Al
