This track has some potential, as long as the drivers stop being stupid, and teams gather up some data.

The last time Marcus Ericsson had multiple race wins in a season, he was a test driver for Brawn GP

I think they need to smoothen out of some the bumps in the braking areas too..... like I love bumpy tracks, but it seemed a bit to ott in areas

There's potential here. Needs some tweaking but there's hope. Be interesting to see what the ticket renewals look like in a few months.

Yea absolutely, once the novelty factor wears off, the crowd did watch a lot of cars trundling around under yellow and periods of nothing

last stints of the race wasn't bad

Nashville is a good racing market - the track just needs adjustments so it's better for racing & spectators

Reminded me of the V8 Supercar races at Canberra.

I mean if the street course doesn't pan out, there's a nice permanent road course just an hour up the road. Doesn't show up on Google maps yet, but it's there. And it's owned by Chevy.

I won't be back unless they open up GA or move the date to September or March. I've been to Barber and it's much much better for spectating and you get more value for money.

I actually enjoyed the event. It probably helped that I watched it today, so I could fast-forward all the cautions and red flags. There was some decent racing at times, and passing in places that didn't seem possible. Maybe it was more frustrating to watch live with the endless delays.

It surprised me how many drivers had accidents from braking way too late and trying to make the corner. In Baku, cars are flying down the escape roads all through practice and qualifying. Do the Indycar drivers not know when to bail out, or is it just the nature of the circuit?

I argee, the torrent I DL'd for the race had cut all the commercial breaks so I didnt find it too bad for once. I'm sure live it was annoying as hell. They really do need to tweak the layout or widen places, if possible, to prevent so many yellow and red flags. Once they got racing toward the end the action was actually pretty good. I hope they return for at least a couple more years to see how the mistakes get worked out.

track needs some tweaks for sure

with that said, every driver & the entire race control box needs to get bonked in the head with a baseball bat. The drivers for being fucking idiots & playing games on the starts + restarts. Race control for not dealing with it properly. Same exact bullshit that took out half of the field at Texas - so it's surely not a track problem
