Sato's won Macau. What has Andretti ever done?

Aside from racking up penalties, that is.

Is it me or do the two co-commentators really hate each other?

Also Bestwick is shitter at Indycar than he was at NASCAR, just no enthusiasm from the man.

Fortunately that was the last race on ESPN for the year, Were on NBCSN for the rest of the year.

I know what Indycar commentary needs and it's MOAR TRACY

Liking how we have almost a race a week now, except for Le Mans weekend :)

Still no Milwaukee though :(

Bestwick is a better commentator than the guy that used to do Indycar for abc. He may not get very excited, but he usually has a good idea what is going on with all different strategies.

I think Bestwick's doing a fine job. Goodyear and Cheever on the other hand... The only good thing about them is the awkward tension between the two. It's like waiting for a fistfight to start in the booth.

The Japanese commentary was refreshing. I can't stand the ABC/ESPN guys.

I dunno if it's just what American TV producers demand (cos the guy who's replaced him on Nationwide is EXACTLY the same down to the elocution and tone of his commentary) but Bestwick seemingly deliberately represses himself from getting too excited, preferring to over-explain calmly what you can plainly see in front of you instead of getting excited about the action.

I just don't think his heart is in Indycar commentary....perhaps he's just treating it as a warm up until he gets to go on NASCAR again.

Yeah, that tension does put a little fun back into it. I like Goodyear more than Cheever though. Scott is just kinda awkward and mundane, but Cheever just seems like a prick.

He always has been, Ross on the other hand is much more fun (or he used to be).
