stream seems very laggy

fastest lap currently is Jay Howard with a 226.744MPH average

fastest no-tow lap is Ed Carpenter with a 224.051MPH average

From the onboard it looked like understeer followed by snap at exit. He lifted a lot during the corner though so his exit speed wasn't that fast, but then again it's turn 1 so not much forgiveness is to be expected!

Really seems like it had to be a failure. Car just whipped around WAY too quickly. We'll find out before long, I imagine.

He was pedaling that thing and sawing on the wheel trying to save it. My guess is a tire went down or something broke in the left rear.

Regarding qualifying procedures and rain...

The livestream commentators just mentioned that if every car makes an attempt on Saturday, and then Sunday gets rained out, then the field will be set on Saturday's speeds.

That all makes sense (and I assume some of you already knew that), but I figured I would post it here anywho for anyone who's curious.

And Lazier is going to be in that car until it crashes, breaks down or the chequered flag comes out. He may be slowest out there but he's going for a finish. Lotus engined cars only started and parked because they were waaaay off the pace.
