Tobacco companies have been quietly buying up e-cig manufacturers after their failed attempts at getting them banned, it's just a matter of time before you see a "Premium grade Marlboro Electric" although you won't see it advertised as the regulations are quiet strict for the cigarette manufacturers, less so for non-tobacco manufacturers.

e-cigs are not a quitting aid, although a lot of people choose this route over other methods, the "e-cigs are a quitting aid" was a myth spread about by the Tobacco & Pharmaceutical Industries in order to try and have them licensed as medical products (akin to a backdoor ban) due to both loosing huge amounts of revenue from people using e-cigs over nicotine laced chewing gum, however they didn't bribe enough EU Bureaucrats enough to get the regulations pushed through (so far).

So to gain more profit you're suggesting the tobacco companies should launch a product that would compete with their only area of business? I know that a lot of companies offer diverse products, but this would not be a good idea.

Why not? Just like you have beer without alcohol, why shouldn't they do the same and sell e-cigarettes? It's just another way of making money and instead of losing costumers, they'll maintain them.

PS: It's funny that alcohol beverages are being discussed in the US GP topic and here we're discussing tobacco

I got to see Dario race in British F3, ITC and Indycar. And I also got to see him test the F1 Jaguar.

Aleshin replaces Vautier at SSM.

It's seemingly a Russian invasion through top-tier motorsport at the moment!?

Well, sort of!!! Bourdais' livery next year.

Are you serious? Is that a Tobacco sponsorship? Please, Marlboro, Camel, Mild Seven and etc, come back!!! Not for f*cking lungs, but for making cars look better at least.

The brand of "Mild Seven" doesn't exist any more.

You ALWAYS find one of those idiots on YouTube. That shouldn't be a surprise nowadays.

Agreed. Much as I like the DW12, this is a mix of that car and the previous gen Dallara chassis (without the ridiculously high downforce, I hope).
