At least Karam's been shuffled out, that will keep most of the front-runners safe.

I forgot Sato, I'm sorry.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

This race reminds me of the 2002 (I think da matta won) champcar race here. That race made me an oval racing fan with it's close racing.

2001 I think you mean. I remember the 2002 as extremely disappointing (when Vasser won easily). The 2001 race was the last tast Hanford race (though the cars were much slower than 2000 spec).

The end of the 2001 race was shaping up to be awesome (Da Matta v Papis I think) but it was ruined by a late race caution and it finished under yellow iirc

Yup. Maybe I was wrong in thinking that the 2002 race was boring, after all it had 44 official lead changes!
Then I compared with 2001: 75 lead changes.

Oh well, Sato... :slaphead:

Have to disagree, this is amazing. Caution free after 250 miles of this kind of racing suggests the driving is actually pretty good

Kanaan keeps doing this dumbass move (I see him doing it way more than others atleast) where he sweeps all the way to the wall entering turn 1 no matter if someone is there or not....I swear theres been atleast 10-15 times I thought he was gonna put someone in the wall there.

They're doing well to get out of the sketchy situations. But they're chopping eachother toward the wall and squeezing needlessly at times.

This is what indycar oval racing should be. Not the dull-ness from Texas and Indy.

To be fair, those concepts aren't mutually exclusive.
