Not early March, F1 shifted their Melbourne date forward a couple of weeks a few years ago

However, that's prime Clipsal 500 time, so don't expect to see the Supercars around... :whistling:
Maybe TCR Australia?

Supercars are shaking up their calendar completely so it might actually tie in with them

I would totally fly to Brisbane for this race. March would be perfect too, higher chance of rain and slightly warmer than October. I would love for this to be the season opener followed by a race in Rio.

Willing to bet Indycar will make these races some kind of international, non championship cup.
They've always had issues with starting their season at 2am, American time or whatever it'll be

they wouldn't have any time issues for US market if they ran in New Zealand, and had race start at noon (puts it in primetime on Saturday night in USA)

For a race at Surfers Paradise to be added on the schedule for the first quarter of 2020, a decision would need to be made in the next 3 months. Miles has said that the current VASC layout is fine, but they are exploring a extended layout as well.

Thats great to see Wickens in good enough shape both mentally and physically to do that stuff.

Looks like Alonso will be racing for Chevy at both the Daytona 24H and Indy this year.
