Thinking about it, that probably is true. You can burn off a lot of rubber doing doughnuts and they run the cars as light as possible. |

When did donuts become compulsory celebration for winning a race anyway? Everyone started doing them in NASCAR about 15 years ago and somehow they've become cool everywhere. I always thought the victory lap and just being legitimately excited was classy, donuts have always seemed kind of bogan. |

When Zanardi started the tradition, he became heavily fined, which was funny. |
