That was very poor, race isn't over when the winner crosses the line.

The timeslot today is usually occupied by programs such as Thomas and Friends and Power Rangers, motorsports and Channel 5 were never two words I thought I'd never hear said in the same sentence, it's actually as if someone is buying the airtime rather than Channel 5 actively going out and bidding for the rights.

I imagine it was some automated software kicking in, they didn't show ads during the race which was appreciated.

Still glad it's being shown here on a FTA channel, will be interesting seeing the balance of power shift when F1 goes fully pay and Formula E is still FTA

Good race I thought, great mix of strategy and on-track action, looking forward to another great season.

They had a break mid-way through the podium ceremony as well, which was odd. Overall it was better than ITV though, no hour of pre-race waffle.

Channel 4 ran ads (on the highlights package) right before the lights went out, and with 2 laps to go. Way to kill the atmosphere!

The little semi-preview of the start they did as they went to ads wasn't helpful either

Overall they're still on balance the better coverage, needless to say Sky would try to get away with a lot worse if they were allowed.
(and probably will once they become sole broadcaster)
