Team probably would have an illegal car right from the start. I can't accept that you can win with 1 % on the meter when finishing, but if 3 meters before the finish line the energy goes to 0%, you get automatically DQd or a penalty. A proper analogue would be that a car crashed at the last corner, kept its momentum and would cross the finish line without rear wing but got disqualified because of the "dangerous condition of the vehicle". Wonder if that rule exist...

To be fair to them, I think there is an exception in those sorts of cases as Duval was not thrown out. Sarrazin was at 0% with a third of the last lap remaining. Completely got the sums wrong.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Looks like today's race was good unlike yesterday, going to have to watch the recording of it later then as I missed it (I hate my sleeping patterns that aren't existent to 1 pattern for more than 1 day)

I think the point might be when the graphic changes from 1 to 0 (or basically any change between two numbers)

Normal rounding rule? (1% means something between 0,5 inclusive and 1,5 exclusive)
Or is just the first number listed? (0,99% means 0 and 1,00 means 1)

They're not getting rid of that for a long time:

Alejandro Agag, CEO of Formula E, has stated that rules will be loosened. Teams will have the opportunity to pursue their own in-house innovations which initially is limited to the powertrain. Specifically the e-motor, the inverter, the gearbox and the cooling system. All other parts on the cars will remain as they are, with the aim being to prevent costly aerodynamic developments.[3] Innovations to the battery system will not be allowed during the 2015–16 season, but are expected to be allowed during the 3rd season (2016–17) "with the objective being the use of a single car per driver during races from the fifth season."[3]

Really liked them having a race in Jan this year, helped beat the winter blues. A shame they're not doing that this year

Formula e needs to focus on racing more in the traditional off season where it'll get more attention than trying to compete with the established series

Season needs to be from late September to early April imo. December, January and February should all have 2 race weekends. Season should start and end in Europe.

Sure they can just throw a stack of tyres in front of the tree and tell them not to hit it.

Cape Town would be a pretty sweet place to do a race. But I can see a place like Luanda wanting a race, because they can afford it.
