Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Today was the first shakedown at Donington.

A short clip of Alguersuari leaving the garage.

It's different, but I wouldn't say it's worse than like the Le Mans Audi's (R10, later models became a bit nosier).

I just thought of something, other than marketing purposes why make these cars winged cars? Surely they'd need pretty big wings to generate good downforce at the speeds they're going and with the drag, wouldn't that kill efficiency? Surely at the speeds they're going ground effect would be more useful without being as dangerous as it would be in an F1 car.

For the same reason many lower formulae have wings - they don't have to be that big to generate downforce.

Ground effects would probably work just as well, and weren't even really that bad in F1. The shocking levels of safety were the problem really.

Does the Formula E car have some hybrid technology or is it 100% electric? I'm wondering because that may be that's why the circuits are short and could explain the tyre chicane at Donington and the chicane at Long Beach, helping charge the batteries through heavy braking.

That's what I thought, and pretty much concludes my theory as utter rubbish.

So, how many times will we hear commentators say "this race is electric!"?

That driver is CHARGING through the field.

I wonder if the VAG group will see this series as a great partnership opportunity, then they could have the VW brand on many VoltsWagens.

All in all, I just hope the driving standards in Formula E are not shocking. :slaphead:

Ok I'm done.

The Uruguay circuit layout has been unveiled. Looks a bit like Sochi.
