This weekend sees the championship arrive at the first of 4 new additions to the calendar, and the first event in India.

The course is laid out around the NTR Gardens on the southwest shore of Hussain Sagar. There is one change from the layout used by local series at the rehersal event - turn 1 has been turned into a chicane, presumably in anticipation of the (now resolved) issues around brake failure.

Shame about that T1 chicane. That first corner looked pretty hairy with the smaller categories that tested the track. Could have been Formula E's old 130R.

Maybe they should've rehearsed more. FP1 delayed by 30 minutes for some reason.
