The delay to bring out SC cost us a one-lap shootout. Oh, well. It's FE.

Every series just needs to say sod it and throw a red flag if there's an incident in the last 5 laps or something. No need for these anti-climactic finishes

For anyone wondering why no time was added in this race, here's the rule:
Quote:
37.2 The race will take place at least 3 hours after the end of the qualifying practice session.

The distance of all races, from the start signal to the chequered flag, will be of a maximum time of 45 minutes, plus the “Extra Time”, plus one additional lap.

A maximum of 10 minutes of “Extra Time” will be added at the end of the 45 minutes race time, and notified on the timing monitors and in writing by the Stewards by minute 41 of the race.

During an FCY or SC period, the total time of this condition (FCY or SC time) shall be counted for the “Extra Time” and 45 seconds per minute of the FCY or SC period will be added to the 45 minutes race time. The calculation will be made for each FCY or SC period, separately, in full minutes. No partial minutes will be calculated. One minute of FCY or SC = 45 seconds.

If an SC or FCY period extends into, or occurs during or after minute 40 of the race, it will not be counted for the “Extra Time” calculation.

“Extra Time” allocation will not be subject to appeal.

Much better race today, shame about the SC finish, but if that's what the rules say, they must be respected and not overruled because someone doesn't like the winner

Has anyone gone through the 2 qualy sessions and seen if the 2nd car on track always finishes ahead of the 1st car? Seems that way to my eye
