Crazy race

Rain on that would've just been so mad a whirlpool would've opened up to a parallel universe!

So the DT was because Di Grassi didn't stop according to the stewards, but Audi say he did. Seems harsh to DQ him before anyone's had access to the data

Going to be pretty shit if it turns out he did stop because that's completely within the rules. Not Audi's fault that that loophole exists

I still can't get over what di grassi was trying, they thought it was legal to come in, stop for 1 second and come out while overtaking 8 cars in the pit lane?

Surely the red light was on at the exit of pit lane?

It is legal though (but probably won't be by next race). According to McNish the only reason they got a penalty was because the stewards thought he didn't fully come to a stop

But yeah, why the red light wasn't on at the end of pit lane, I don't know.

Yeah, like in F1 and other series. It's strange as to why they don't have that.

I guess that's the advantage in racing in a championship as relatively young as Formula E is, not every loophole has been plastered over in the rule book and creative thinkers can still get away with some serious shit.

Once.

So di Grassi basically pulled a Bobby Unser @ 1981 Indy 500? How shocking he didn't get away with it

That layout is crazy. Very entertaining to watch but also a bit silly.
