Formula E returns to London for the first time since 2016 this weekend. Once again, a doubleheader is on tap with racing on both Saturday & Sunday. 4 rounds remain for the 2020/2021 championship, and the points fight is very tight at the moment (Sam Bird leads by 5 points over Antonio Felix da Costa & Robin Frijns). This is the first Formula E slated to be held at the ExCEL venue (was previously planned for 2020, but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic), which features a hybrid indoor/outdoor layout. All previous races for Formula E in London were held at Battersea Park.

But that onboard camera adjusts to such changes much worse than eyes.

That track looks like that mission from GTA San Andreas with the remote control cars

Got caught up in the kafuffle that took out Sims

Race 2 about to start

Sims had issues on the first lap again

SC for Rast

Buemi getting into Rast, shoving Rast into the wall and Rast driving into Buemi

So clumsy but what do you expect with that track layout

Think Rasts steering was broken but definitely looked like he was accelerating rather than braking into that second hairpin
