Also because not everyone can win at the same time even if the other needs were met. Mainly applies to BMW.

Multiple manufacturers leaving in a short time was always expected but I guess it is happening sooner than expected.

Bad losers. They're not dominating like in F1 and then just quit. Same for the other manufacturers pulling out.

That's the problem basing your championship around manufacturers only, the "little guy" is priced out of the equation, yet you have to run back to them and beg them to keep racing once the big boys have had enough and go play somewhere else.
