Tomorrow is the Mexico E-Prix, and there have again been some significant layout changes.

Image

As you can see, there is now an appendage beginning after turn 3, where the track will make use of the tarmac runoff introduced for F1's return before turning around and going back the 'right' way.

Whilst the stadium section remains, two of the other chicanes have been removed, including the final chicane which will turn the Peraltada back into a single full-throttle corner.

The schedule is below with all times GMT -

FP1: 13:25-14:25
FP2: 15:45-16:50
Qualifying: 17:35-18:30
Race: 22:00

Abt tried his very best to bypass the stadium section by driving through the wall at turn 9 at the end of FP1, and has been taken to hospital as a result of the high g sensor going off.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Brake issue. They've actually fixed the car but Abt is still on his way back from hospital and misses quali.

Only as much as it is for F1, no chicanes between the exit of the infield stadium to the straight

I'd say the Formula E layout of the infield brings them out onto the peratalda earlier so they spend longer in the corner, but not by too much

They can't take it flat out though, so it's a proper driver test in these cars

And that's before Super Boost or whatever it's called
