Lotterer & Lopez basically crashed into each other three times in two laps?

Wow Frijns, nice work.

Somehow survived being squeezed by Buemi into the dirt and still got it stopped and turned in...

JEV has been given community service for asking his teammate repeatedly to stop on track and trigger a safety car.

JEV wrote:
if I asked every other driver in F1 or in Formula E, they would have asked the same.

Seriously? Considering the fallout of Crashgate how is this not getting more attention or a bigger penalty?

I believe the difference is that it wasn't a team-wide planned action, and also mostly because it did not actually happen.

Ethically it's fucking ridiculous from JEV to ask that, but rule-wise you have no grounds to penalise someone for saying something stupid/illegal orally over the radio with zero actual consequence.

It's just from a frustrated driver rather than planned like Singapore, or even NASCAR at Richmond a few years back.

His punishment should be to spend a day with William Storey

TBF that should be Vettel's punishment too...
