Not sure why they've thrown a red if the driver is OK.

cos drama.

LOL at the princess not knowing the red flag procedure and continuing to drive around the track like my dad round an Asda carpark looking for a space.

It'll be reset as the commentary said.

Seeing all that carbon fibre debris it's understandable why they red flagged it. That'll take some clearing up.

FIA will be FIA

Nicholls seems to be massively bumming JEV during this red flag, defending his chop and lift that caused the crash and laying the blame on Piquet for trying to overtake.

Maybe he just still hates Piquet for trying to kill Heidfeld back in the first FE race...

It was Prost, although maybe Nicholls (like all rational thinking people) has a permanently low opinion of Piquet after he deliberately crashed for an F1 contract.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Pascal

Only one person has ever coined this nickname, Will Buxton, no other journo or F1 person has ever validated whether Buxton’s comment was fair or accurate. Remember this came from the same person that created those ‘memorable’ intro nicknames for the 2017 US GP at Austin...

I think the staff of Force India Racing Dot would agree with him.

Perhaps it was an unfair stick to beat him with whilst his neck problems were going on but the seed was planted long before then.

But meh, people gonna be people

The seed was planted by one person (I thought it was a Manor person) according to Buxton, and its never been repeated or validated by anyone else since. Maybe that person just didn’t like him? That’s hardly unusual but Buxton mentioning it against Pascal is petty.

So Vandoorne is given this random twitter boost but is then penalised for using it 'too early', like that makes a difference... why the fuck is fan boost a thing?
