These last few years have been hard on Swedish racing. All series, except Swedish GT, have far fewer cars than in 2011. But things should be looking up from now on, with more media exposure, relevant cars, new talent and actual competition between teams. That will have an effect on the feeder series too. Clio Cup seems to work, for example. Hopefully that means that more teams will pay more attention to it.

And yes, Ring Knutstorp is awesome. It could use a wider and longer front straight, but those esses and the final complex is 10/10.

Knutstorp is also really fun to drive in racing sims.

20 cars on the grid in Alastaro, Finland! Lilja didn't get his finances in order, Andreas Andersson couldn't repair his car in time, and Kottulinsky is racing in ADAC GT Masters, but Ekblom is there in a 3rd KMS VW Golf and Finnish LMS Racing have all 5 cars there, and Joonas Lappalainen makes his first appearance.

This is awesome.

Pretty good field. I'm glad KMS were able to prepare a third car for Ekblom, he's far too good to be sat on the sidelines.

Are there any chances that all of the part-time entries will be present at the same event this year?

Racing looked pretty good in race 1! Kristoffersson wins, in 1-2-3 for KMS. Too bad about Wärnerlöv, nice to see a rookie beating up on the veterans though.
