We have another touring car-fest on our hands this weekend, with racing all over the world. But our focus is on the BTCC at the balls-out Thruxton circuit.

Daniel Lloyd returns to the championship with Eurotech Racing in their third entry and should go well. Triple Eight will be hungry for wins with their improved package for this year, having not topped the podium here since 2010. Andrew Jordan will also be wanting some glory, as he's not won for nearly two years and this is one of his better circuits (despite having only one win here). Aside from the winners, one thing that most people will probably be thinking is: "Who's going to have a massive crash this year?"

As far as the support series are concerned, the Porsches are missing again as are the Ginetta GT4s, although the latter will be replaced by the Ginetta GT5 Challenge. Both Clio races will be on Sunday for the second consecutive meeting.

Looks like there was a Safety Car too based on it coming into the pits when ITV came on air.

A BTCC weekend without plato. Am I dreaming? :p

Highlights at least of the first Juniors race.

I wish ITV would show the races before the first BTCC race and the one after the third BTCC race when that happens.
